Ducati Performance Racing Set

This Ducati Performance Racing Set (DP0) features new components for racing use of the bike, including parts of the intake and exhaust system, as well as new front sprocket and rear sprocket of the final drive. This set retains the original equipment silencer. A replacement silencer is included, on the other hand, in one of the other two Ducati Performance Racing sets available (DP1 and DP2), which feature two different exhaust system configurations: the Akrapovič silencer only (DP1) or the complete Akrapovič exhaust system (DP2). Sets DP1 or DP2 cannot be installed without first installing this set DP0. Each of the three racing configurations has its own calibration, specific for the engine and vehicle electronics. For correct use of this Ducati Performance Racing Set, it is necessary to update the electronic calibrations of vehicle and engine, which must be carried out at an authorised Ducati Dealer. The set is not type-approved for road use, therefore its installation results in the lost of vehicle type-approval. This means that the bike can be used in racing configuration only for sporting purposes on track or routes closed to traffic.
